As professional designers and RC enthusiasts, the pure excitement we felt for the potential of the Losi Promoto Mx dirt bike establishing as a new class of mainstream RC racing was very inspiring. We knew immediately the potential of accessories and upgrades was limitless. We got to work right away and spent months sketching, designing, and testing numerous designs and materials. Though it required dedication and hard work, in a way it didn’t feel like work because we felt like a kid again playing and making our new toy look super cool. The problem we wanted to solve from the get go was very simple: protect the amazing uniform on the figure from tears and damage. Losi went the extra mile to make the figure look realistic and finally for the first time the correct proportions for a RC rider on a motorcycle was achieved. Why destroy it on your first ride?
Once we accomplished this goal, our body armor protector pads created a visual impact on the Promoto Mx motorcycle that we think enhances and makes the Losi Promoto Mx dirt bike look even more formidable and impressive. What we saw that came out on the market and some home-produced armor pad products were lacking visual focus and appealing design. It did not represent the cool visuals of the Losi Promoto Mx and as designers, we could not bear to see an amazing product be tarnished with bad design. We love the product we produced and use it ourselves to drive and race the Promoto Mx motorcycle. What a revolutionary and incredibly fun RC! We are excited to design and produce even more new products, accessories, and gear for the Losi Promoto Mx dirt bike.
